We are delighted to bring Saltpots Pottery Studio to Ilkley, alongside our Sundaes café.
Pop in, choose your pottery, get creative and paint at your own pace — no experience needed and all ages are welcome. While you paint, enjoy a waffle, milkshake, coffee or sweet treat or why not treat yourself to a glass of fizz and our wonderful Afternoon Tea.
Whether you’re visiting with the kids, catching up with friends, or looking for something a little different, Saltpots of Ilkley is a relaxed, creative space for everyone.

No studio fees. No painting fees. No hidden extras.Your pottery price includes everything you need to create your piece, plus glazing and firing, ready for you to collect once it’s finished.

Each pottery painting session lasts 1 hour 45 minutes.
Our sessions run back-to-back, so please arrive at your allocated booking time to make the most of your experience. There’s plenty of time to relax, paint your pottery, and enjoy coffee, cake, or sweet treats from Sundaes during your visit.

While we do welcome walk-ins where possible, we highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment — especially during weekends and school holidays

Our huge range of pottery is priced from £10 to £40, and most children’s shapes are £17 and below.
We do not charge a studio fee.

Yes — we host adult-only evening pottery painting sessions from 8pm–10pm on the last Thursday of every month ✨
